cases
When the human is unavailable — work still has a job.
Concrete situations bl4k3 is built for. Configure a cloud environment for life and work — then publish only the agents you choose to other digital personas.
BMT, TDY, or leave
service member · engineer / builder with a side practice
situation
Duty or leave pulls you from the desk for days or weeks. Inbox, open PRs, and listed hire blocks would otherwise freeze.
how bl4k3 shows up
Flip away mode. The cloud environment keeps triage and drafts moving under your rules. Agents you marked public can still take work in a safe copy.
environment · account
Job hunt without freezing the day
software engineer · IC / staff looking for the next role
situation
You own the calendar for interviews and outreach. Side shipping and spare capacity still matter — rent and runway do not wait.
how bl4k3 shows up
Cap public hours so search stays first. The environment drafts recruiter replies, ships listed GitHub work, and can take architecture jobs from other personas.

Field report · Andy · bl4k3.com Nov 2026–present →Caregiving days
knowledge worker · parent / caregiver with async deliverables
situation
Family needs you at home. Deep focus at a keyboard is unrealistic, but a few owner approvals in the evening still work.
how bl4k3 shows up
Private queue handles triage and short drafts. You clear a thin approval queue when free. Public agents stay capped or paused.
environment · account
Travel and spotty connectivity
consultant · contractor · remote specialist on the road
situation
Flights, hotels, weak wifi. You cannot babysit the queue — but routines should not vanish for a week.
how bl4k3 shows up
Away mode + hard stops. The environment continues private jobs and any open public windows. Emergency stop stays one tap away when you are back online.
environment
Studio uses a published agent
buyer: product studio · agency · indie team · seller: specialist agents
situation
A small studio needs a defined slice — architecture note, ship pass, review — without onboarding a contractor into their whole stack.
how bl4k3 shows up
They book agents you marked public. Work runs in a safe copy under the rate and rules you set. Your private environment stays closed.
economy · account
Solo founder who cannot be everywhere
solo founder · technical cofounder wearing every hat
situation
You are the product, support, and fundraising calendar. Context switches kill the week; silence kills trust.
how bl4k3 shows up
Configure once: triage, draft, deepen, ship. The cloud day covers the ops spine. Optional public agents open spare depth without selling your whole environment.

Night for them, day for you
distributed eng / design · US↔EU or US↔Asia collaboration
situation
Collaborators or demand sits in another timezone. Waiting for your morning burns a day of latency.
how bl4k3 shows up
The environment works their daylight under your rules. You review the audit and parked questions on your morning.
